Keller Williams International, the second largest real estate firm in North America, is now represented in the Hawley Lake Region with the dedication of their new office on Dec. 8th.
Known as the Hawley office, Keller William Real Estate is located at 2523 Route 6, Suite 2, diagonally across from the Lake Wallenpaupack Visitors Center.
The Hawley office is part of the Keystone Partners Group with eight major offices stretching from Westchester, PA west of Philadelphia, to Hawley. This region has 675 agents. With the opening of another office in Milford only days before, this represents their first venture into the northern Pocono market.
"We intend to be dominant in this area," said Bob Wells, Vice-president of Operations for the Keystone Partners Group. Shawn Morrow and Usha Patel are the team leaders at both the Hawley and Milford offices, and Bob Hay is their Broker of Record. Hay, who oversees the offices, is a former president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.
Agents include Kent Swartz, who works at the Hawley office, and Arlene Quirk, agent at the Milford office, are both past presidents of the Pike Wayne Association of Realtors.
Wells stated that they have very productive agents. Although the national economy has been challenging in recent years, Wells noted that Keller Williams, since opening in 2001, has not closed or merged any offices, but has continued to add locations. He said that they are focused on training and professional growth, and make their own market. "We like to be on the leading edge," he said.
